Well today has been rather rubbish really. Managed to get a mile done but also got made redundant. At least it means I will have plenty to time to get on the treadmill and get the miles in until I find a brilliant new job - need to look on the bright side eh?! Keep your fingers crossed for me finding something else soon.

Day 12
Busy, busy, busy today. Managed to fit 1.6k in though. It's started to sink in that in September I have agreed to run 13 miles - I doubt I could walk that at the moment!!

Day 11
Update two for today (of three), forget the above, the charity which I wanted to run for (Asthma UK) have places in their team and I don't have to raise an unachievable amount to take part. No getting out of it now - 249 days to go!
Update three, one mile only sadly but am planning a ten mile walk for Sunday!

Day ten
Treadmill has arrived! It's great, though it does only do metric. Quick 1.5k to break it in, will give it a tougher test tomorrow.
Oh and last book club book was Room by Emma Donoghue. Dark but very interesting read.

Day nine
Ahh Sunday, shame you lead to Monday but I love you nonetheless.
House is now spotless, I am showered and changed after my 2 miles and the flapjack is baking in the oven. Feeling a little smug! Book club this afternoon and treadmill arrives tomorrow.
